Moments of Grace
Feeling really happy these days.... It's not a total excitement type of happy
but feeling so lucky to have these moments of grace fill each day. I
notice when I am ready to sleep each night and I take a moment to look back at
my day how content I feel. I think it's the first time in a really long
time I feel like I can actually say to myself I am where I am supposed to
be. It feels really great.
Feeling lucky for Lily. For her
love of family and home. Our basement is now painted and decorated so
pretty thanks to her. For the moments we can share together in a room not
speaking and feeling completely close. For my sweet kitties. How I am
enjoying their kitty spirits. Early loves to sit next to my computer while
I work. I love her orange body watching me work. It makes working so
much easier! And Early, who knew being woken up each night at three to
give you love would make me so happy. For hearing my nieces still speak
about me even though I am not able to speak to them. For family and
friends who made missing my first Thanksgiving away from Phoenix not so
hard. The calls and emails helped so much. I felt really loved
and I needed it.
I know that on Thursday we all took a moment to say what we
were thankful for, but for me it's these special moments that happen each day I
most thankful for.
