Studio Friday's "Positive Space"
Positive Space

This is my favorite space in my studio. It's the window right next to my desk. I've loved having this window so close. Often I watch the wind, birds or even squirrels playing while sitting at my desk. I love to watch the rain fall from this window, it's one of my favorite spots to watch storms. Sitting on this window are two mugs my best friend gave me from trips she has taken, a bear daisy vase and snowman candle my mother sent me. I placed these items in this window so I would think about Phoenix and two of my favorite people each time I look up. This spot is by far my most positive one in my studio.

So great that you can look out of the window while you're working. I don't have a window in my studio, but I would love to have one ... or more. It's nice that you have placed things in the window that makes you think of special people when you look at them.

what a lovely sight inside and outside! i love those mugs! i have a mug, too that was given to me by my friend and have been with me for almost 19 years already.
Such a great window!! Wow! I love it how you placed those tokens on the sill. I would have done the same :-)
thank you ladies for checking my positive space out.
last night we had a big rain storm and I came and sat at my desk so I could watch from my favorite spot.
it's a great space here in this office/studio.
I have a window infront of my desk too. I look at the sky a lot, specially when it's raining. It's the best inspiration - nature!
hanna,
i agree.... the sky and the weather can be so inspirational.
I love looking out of my window, too. I am at the same height as some old chestnut trees and love to see them bloom in springtime and love to watch the birds, too.
there is something so peaceful about having windows in our studios... I tell myself it's a little reminder each time I look up that I am completly connected to all things around me. I have two really old big trees right outside of my window and I love to watch them move in the wind...It reminds me of life.
